Artist's Comments
I took a mural painting class this June. We had to make a mural honoring David Cook, since he came from my home town. It's a really cool concept. I'll have a full picture of it up when they put it up [it's on 3 separate boards that will be put up on a wall].
Anyway. It was my job to do the microphone. Man, this thing was a pain in the neck to do [literally!]. I think it took me around 16 hours to do. I still see mistakes on it, but I'm gonna have to bear with it since I'm leaving tomorrow... So oh well. Still looks pretty good if you ask me.
To give you an idea of how huge this thing is, I had to stand on a chair to work on most of it, and I still could barely reach the very top part [and I'm 5'6].
Also, as you might notice, there's an A on the microphone... Yes, that stands for my first name.
I couldn't help it.
